On August 8, 2020, we hosted an information event for the planned carbon-neutral industrial park in Jänschwalde-Ost near Cottbus. Sustainable companies exhibited in the terminal building of the former airport to raise awareness of new technologies and approaches. In the tent on the tarmac, Jochem Schöppler (Managing Director of Euromovement) and Tassilo Soltkahn (CEO of Soltkahn AG) presented their visions for the 209-hectare site. The presentation was accompanied by speeches by Jana Schimke (Member of the Bundestag) and Elvira Hölzner (District Director of Peitz). Representatives from politics and business, as well as interested citizens, had the opportunity to gain insights into the project for the first time.

Burning fuel will soon be a thing of the past. Visitors could charge their electric cars at charging stations and take a tour of the site in an electric bus or electric truck.
